Railway Bridges in Saxony, Germany

The graduation thesis deals with the Saxon railway bridges, their construction and history. A historical tied-arch bridge was compared to a modern railway bridge structure. Based of this comparison, an tied-arch bridge improved by a meshed hanger arrangement is then designed and analyzed.
