I have two import files (solid structures: ifc file, steel structures: dxf file). Can I merge both files in RFEM and handle them as an entire model?

Answer

You can create a new model and import the ifc file (or the dxf file) there. Then, import the other import file as a background layer into the existing model (see the figure).

As an alternative, you can create two separate models and merge them by using Block Manager (see FAQ under Links below).
