In the Chinese province of Qinghai, near the city of Haixi, a complex of 23 multi-energy plants is being built, combining different technologies to generate energy from renewable resources. The complex comprises a 618.4 ft high tower of the 50-MW solar power plant whose support structure is expected to be completed in mid-2019.

The solar power plant uses a modern CSP (Concentrated Solar Power) technology, which enables the storage of thermal solar energy, thus ensuring continuous power generation even at night.

The cyclone represents a gas purification system of Furnace A in metallurgical plant Belgo Mineira in Brazil.

The tangential cyclone is used for separation of dust and ash particles. It is designed for internal pressure of 1.9 bar (190 kN/2) and a temperature of 250 °C.

The A516 (60) material was used in compliance with the American standard ASTM (corresponds to P265GH according to EN 10028).

In addition to service loads, the analysis considers wind loads as well. Also the effects (forces and restraining end moments) of outgoing and incoming pipelines were taken into account.
