Why does the load generation by plane or by cells give me partially negative values in the vertices?


Although the implemented load generation tool may seem simple at first glance, the background approach is quite complex.
In order to be able to convert linearly varying area loads into linearly variable bar loads, the option for the correction of the generated loads "After moments balance of the total load and generated bar loads" is preset in the detail settings.

If, for example, a rectangular cell is present, but only 3 edge bars are present, then the load must be distributed so that the resulting moment from the bar loads with the respective lever arms to the center of gravity of the cell is zero.
This leads to negative values being determined at a positive stress in the corner points.
If this effect is not desired, the correction of the generated load can be deactivated or set to "None". See also manual section 11.8
