ASPECT Structural Engineers, Canada
Naikoon Contracting Ltd. announced their new global headquarters location in Vancouver, BC late 2018 with a grand opening in Spring 2019. The new office is centred around a set of stunning cross-laminated timber (CLT) stairs which utilize a profound gluing technology developed by Timber Structures 3.0 (TS3). This marked the first time TS3 has been used in North America.

StructureCraft, a customer of Dlubal Software, was selected as the structural engineer and builder of the roof structure for this exciting local project in Surrey, Canada, after proposing a turnkey, value engineered solution in late 2017.

Since March 2011, a glass pedestrian bridge with a length of 30 m connects the St. Michael hospital with the new research center Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute. The supporting structure consists of several oval steel rings which are twisted together. The bridge with a section height of 4.60 m and a width of 3.80 m was designed by Diamond and Schmitt Architects Inc. from Toronto.
