Displaying Small Ordinate Values Using E-Format

The determined values for the influence ordinates are displayed as decimal numbers with up to six decimal places by default. This is usually sufficient for the influence lines of internal forces.

However, for structural systems with a common distribution of stiffness, the six decimal places may be insufficient for the influence lines of the deformations. Usually the reason for this is that the ordinate values are determined relative to the SI units.

To get values for the ordinates nonetheless, select the E‑format for the output of the values.
