Analysis of Soil-Structure Interaction in Impost Joint of Arched Bridge and Effects on System Analysis of Structure

The surface transferring forces has been simulated by four models and compared with the measurements. The individual values of the load cells could not be reproduced, thus a restriction to the mean stress was required. For the calculation with the Dlubal program RFEM, temperature, shrinkage and creep were considered. To determine the stresses on the contact surface of the impost, the bedding modulus method was applied.
