The 3D version of the structural analysis software RFEM 6 allows engineers to generate, model, and design structures. A plate structure can be modeled by extruding lines. Determine internal forces, support reactions, stresses, and deformations of the model. The structure can be made of steel, aluminum, or composite materials. Use the Wizard to create a printout report with the numerical and graphical results.

Use solids for a stress analysis of (steel) details and steel connections. Use contact elements (surface releases) for the transfer of loads between the surfaces. Import Step files (an import of the Inventor, Solidworks, and Solidedge calculation models). Model clamping structures, lifting eyes, connections, brace couplings, bolt connections, and so on, by using solids. Display internal equivalent stress in the steel detail. Design the acting von-Mises stress of a steel connection and the steel detail.
