Plausibility Check
Tips & Tricks
In RFEM and RSTAB, you can check the plausibility of entries before you start the calculation. For this, select ‘Tools’ -> ‘Check Plausibility...’ or use the corresponding button in the toolbar. There are three different types of checks available.
- The ‘Normal’ type checks the completeness of input parameters and the correctness of data records. So if there is a missing entry in a table row, this type of check identifies it.
- The ‘With warnings’ default type performs a detailed check of input data, finding also nodes with identical coordinates, for example.
- If you select the ‘None, only statistic’ type, only a summary of input data is reported, including model dimensions, total weight and number of nodes, members and so on.
In RFEM, you can also select the ‘Generate FE mesh’ option to generate the FE mesh during the plausibility check.
