Calculation and Construction of Two-Bay Production Hall Made of Steel with Crane Runways

The construction project includes the structure of a two-bay production hall made of steel. A crane runway is provided for each bay to operate bridge cranes for transporting five or ten tonnes of payload. The crane runways are anchored to the outer supports and to the centrally arranged hinged columns between the axes 3 to 9 by means of a steel bracket structure. The crane runways consist of prefabricated rolled sections with an I-section and are designed as two-span girders with a span of 6.00 m.
