We want to reinforce a floor slab of a round vessel radially or tangentially.
Is there a way to not calculate an orthogonal reinforcement but a radial or tangential reinforcement?
To display the results as radial reinforcement, change the axes of the FE elements. To do this, simply direct the axis system of the surface to one point (here the center point of the circle).
Double-click the surface that you want to edit. In the "Edit Surface" dialog box, select the "Axes" tab. Here, you have various options to align the axes. Select the "Axis x – Direct to point" options, and then graphically select the center point of the circular surface.
After recalculating the results of RF-CONCRETE Surfaces, the reinforcement is graphically shown as radial and tangential.
