You can create user-defined sections in RFEM by defining a plane that slices through the model. They allow for a detailed evaluation of results that are available on the plane lines that intersect surfaces and solids. The sections are managed as independent objects in the tabs of the project navigator.
To generate a new section, use the menu option
- Insert → Section
or the corresponding shortcut menu in the Data navigator.
A dialog box opens where you can define the section parameters.
