9.4.4 Object Info

Object Info

There is a special output function available for member and surface results. To open the corresponding dialog box, select the menu option

• Tools → Info About Object

or use the corresponding toolbar button.

An Info window appears. If you move the pointer over a surface, a member, or a solid, this window provides information about the object data (material, thickness, cross-section, etc.) as well as the deformation values, internal forces, or stresses on the current pointer position.

For evaluating surface results, we recommend using the Solid Transparent Display Model.
