First, define the standard and, where applicable, the National Annex in the Velocity Pressure dialog section. This setting controls, which text boxes can be accessed.

Specify the parameters as described in Chapter 11.8.5.1. The Duopitch Roof Parameters are automatically determined from the roof geometry and the side where the wind blows.

As described in EN 1991-1-4, Table 7.4a, for example, several load cases must be taken into account for a duopitch roof. In the Load Cases to Generate dialog section, specify the load case numbers for the load generation. The compression loads are created in the load case LC w+, the suction loads in LC w-. The combinations (compression on one side of the roof and suction on other side) are defined as LC w-/+ and LC w+/-. The relevant load cases can be created with the button.

After confirming the generator dialog box with [OK], RFEM displays the results of the load generation for all load cases in an overview (see Figure 11.201). The dialog tabs represent an important control option because the external pressure coefficient cpe,10 and the external pressure we are displayed by zones for each load case.

Before the loads are transferred to RFEM, you can click the button to access the initial dialog box where you can change the parameters of the loads.
