Surfaces
For creating a vaulted head, RFEM provides the standard variants Torispherical head and Semi ellipsoidal head. Once the reference point for placing the head is set in the General Data tab, you can define the material and the generator parameters for surface thickness, outer diameter, and border height in the Structure dialog tab. In the Loads dialog tab, it is possible to additionally specify overpressure as a surface load for the generation.
You can define the parameters of the barrel roof in the Basis and Structure dialog tabs. In the Loads tab, enter the required data for creating the snow load cases.

Cells consist of at least three corner nodes.
They are enclosed by lines or members on all sides and lie in one plane.
To fill cells with surfaces, define the Material and Thickness of the surface first.
Then, graphically select the cells with 
by clicking the cell crosses in the work window.
