Structural Design of Timber-Concrete Composite Structure of Pedestrian Bridge (Spatial Truss Structure Made of Laminated Veneer Lumber with Reinforced Concrete Walkway Slab) According to DIN Technical Report

The objectives of the thesis is to analyze the options for an efficient solution for the design of a composite bridge made of timber trusses and concrete, as it is to be built in Joensuu, Finland, in the next years. The structural design of the three-span cycling and pedestrian bridge is based on the DIN technical report. As a part of this work, the superstructure of the first and the last bay is designed. The design checks of the abutments and the moving part of the bridge are not included here.

"Thank you for providing me with the RFEM 2 and RSTAB programs. RFEM 2 was very useful for my diploma thesis. In particular, I would like to thank the technical support engineers, who were always very quick to provide me with competent solutions. Your software is very user-friendly and, for the most part, I enjoyed working with it."
