Design Situations

All design situations you have defined for the model are listed in the Design Situations table. Here, you can decide whether and how a particular design situation should be taken into account in the stress-strain analysis.

Selecting Design Situations

The “To Analyze” check box is activated by default. This means that all design situations are taken into account for the stress-strain analysis. If you deactivate the check box for a design situation, it will not be analyzed in the stress-strain analysis. This selection is synchronized with the corresponding setting in the “Activate for” section of the design situation.

Info

It is not possible to analyze individual load cases, load or result combinations directly: The combinations must be assigned to a design situation. You can then select specific load cases or combinations from this design situation.

Selecting Combinations

In the standard case, all combinations of a design situation activated for the design are taken into account. However, you can also define individual combinations from this design situation in the “Combinations to Design for Enumeration Method” column. If you click in the text box, you can use the Edit Object button to open a dialog box. Use the buttons Remove and Add to specify the relevant load cases or combinations.
