I have installed a different graphics card. Unfortunately, the rendering in RSTAB doesn't work properly any longer: the graphic is distorted and jagged.
How can I restore a proper display?
For the 3D rendering, the program uses the OpenGL technology, which has to be correspondingly supported by the operating system and the graphics card. Because not every graphics card manufacturer is on the same level of OpenGL technology, the technology by Microsoft is used as a reference. We use the standard Windows OpenGL-Functions ... OpenGL32.dll.
In RSTAB and RFEM, you can activate the hardware acceleration (OpenGL): On the "Options" menu, select "Program Options," and then select or clear the corresponding check box on the "Graphics" tab. On the same tab, you can set an improved smoothing (anti-aliasing) to smooth the jagged appearance of edges. These options become available after restarting the program.
The mentioned options depend on the used hardware, it is recommended to keep the graphics card driver up to date. For information on your driver, select "Contro Panel" -> "Hardware and Sound" -> "Device Manager" -> "Display adapter."
