The result diagrams at the surface point reflect the results in the surface cross-section. To call up this display, click the
button. It is available in the results tables of the 'Stress-Strain Calculation' category for surface objects.
The 'Result Diagram at Surface Point' window appears.
The graphic shows the stress state that corresponds to the result of the current table row. Depending on the setting in the Global Settings dialog, these are the results for the FE mesh node or grid point. They are displayed as linear diagrams derived from the surface or layer side results (top, bottom, middle).
You can adjust the graphic using the buttons in the toolbar, which serve the following functions:

If you have defined a surface via layer elements using the Add-On Multi-Layer Surfaces, the layer numbers with their respective result diagrams are displayed.
Result Types
Using the dropdown button
, you can select which result type should be displayed in the surface section.
In the middle list, you can then specify the type of stress or strain whose progressions you would like to examine.
Graphic Printing
With the dropdown button
, you can directly print the current graphic, save it as a PDF, or transfer it to the printout report. The details to be displayed can also be defined in the print preview.
