Background: For the steel design, member transverse stiffeners can be taken into account, for example. Since they are also used in other add-ons, they are not assigned to the "Steel Design" category, but to the general category Types for Members.
The "Design Supports and Deflection" tab becomes active in the editing dialog box of members or member sets as soon as the design properties have been activated. Here you can define the boundary conditions for the serviceability limit state design of the steel design. However, this dialog box is also relevant for other design add-ons.
