The table Objects to be excluded provides the option to deactivate individual load combinations of a design situation as well as objects for specific load combinations from the design.
Combinations to be designed
The table lists all combinations contained in the Design Situations relevant for design. With the check boxes in the 'To be calculated' column, you can control which of these combinations are to be considered in the design. This provides an alternative to the selection option in the To be calculated dialog, allowing only certain combinations to be designed. In addition, the check boxes can be used to define the combinations that are not relevant for design for certain objects.
Excluded Objects
If you remove members or surfaces from the design in the Objects to be Designed table, they are not considered in any design situation. The columns in this table, however, make it possible to deactivate objects only for certain combinations and thus specifically exclude them from the design for particular combinations. This saves computation time and ensures that each object is only checked for the load combinations relevant to it.
Enter the numbers of the excluded objects in the corresponding table rows. You can also select the objects graphically using the button
at the end of a cell.
