In the Charring Depth - Time Diagram, the charring during the fire exposure can be graphically displayed for the fire resistance design of surfaces and beam panels. To open this window, select a fire resistance design in a table for the utilizations on surfaces or in the design check details dialog box. Then, click the
button.
The 'Charring Depth - Time Diagram' window shows how the charring affects the surfaces or surface layers during the course of the fire exposure.
The essential parameters are defined in the fire resistance configurations.
Printing the Diagram
Use the list button
to print the diagram directly, save it as a PDF, or transfer it to the printout report. There, it will be updated automatically if you perform a new design with changed input data.
Changing the Layout
If you want to change the colors and font sizes of the diagram, right-click on the diagram surface. In the shortcut menu, which contains various options for adjusting the diagram, select the Diagram Settings entry. You can then make the changes in the 'Display Properties' dialog box.
