Assign Accelerogram
In this dialog section, define the accelerogram that contains the desired earthquake recording. If you have already defined one or more accelerograms, you can select it in the list. Create a new accelerogram with the
button or edit the selected accelerogram with the
button.
Furthermore, it is possible to exaggerate or flatten the accelerogram by using the 'scaling factor' for each individual direction. The result of the scaling with the general factor k can be verified in the diagram below.
It is also possible to define a rotation about the Z-axis, which rotates the accelerogram in the XY plane by an angle.
Graph
The lower part shows the imported time diagram in graphical form. When you move the mouse along the graph, the respective abscissa and ordinate appear. Use the mouse wheel to zoom, use the left mouse button to move the diagram, and double-click the mouse wheel to restore the overall view of the diagram.
