Imperfections are deviations of structural components due to manufacturing and construction. You can also consider imperfections for a load case of analysis type ' Modal Analysis '. To do this, activate the check box Consider imperfection and then select the imperfection case from the list.
In the RFEM manual, the imperfection cases are described with the possible imperfection types.
The following types of imperfections can currently be used for modal analysis:
- Notional loads from load case
- Initial sway via table
- Static deformation
- Buckling figure (if add-on structural stability is activated)
- Dynamic eigenmode
- Group of imperfection cases
