Results by member

The results of the spectral analysis that are available for the members are listed in the table result category Results by Member. The results are sorted by member number in the individual tabs.

Global deformations

You can display the member deformations graphically via the navigator category 'Global Deformations' (see image # extbookmark manual|image030131|Results of the spectral analysis #). In the table register 'Global deformations' the member deformations are displayed in numerical form (see image image030288 Results member by member in table ). These are the following results:

  • Absolute total displacement |u|
  • Displacements uX, uY and uZ
  • Rotations φX, φY and φZ.

The deformations relate to the axes of the global coordinate system.

Local Deformations

You can display the local member deformations graphically using the navigator category 'Members' 'Local Deformations' (see image # extbookmark manual|image025859|Select local member deformations in the navigator #). In the table register 'Local Deformations' the values of the member deformations are listed. These are the following results:

  • Absolute total displacement |u|
  • Local displacements x, u y and u z
  • Local rotations φx, φy and φz
  • Cross-section warping ω (if add-on [[ #/de/downloads-und-infos/documents/online-handbooks/rfem-6-rstab-9-torsional-warping-7-dof warping torsion (7 degrees of freedom) {%\} activated)

The deformations refer to the local member axes.

Internal forces

You can display the member internal forces graphically via the navigator category 'Members' → 'Internal Forces' (see picture # extbookmark manual|image030131|Results of the spectral analysis #). In the table tab ' Internal Forces ', the internal forces of the members are displayed in numerical form. These are the following results:

Strains

Member strains represent local deformations in the form of axial strains and shearing. The following results are available in the navigator category 'Members' → 'Distortions' and the table tab ' Distortions ':

  • Changes in length and shear strains εx, γxy and γxz
  • Torsional and bending loads κx, κy and κz

Contact forces

For members with a member storage , you can use the ' Display contact forces '. The following manuals have been updated:

  • Contact forces px, py and pz
  • Moment mx

Internal forces by cross-section

Im Tabellenregister 'Schnittgrößen querschnittsweise' werden die Extremwerte der Schnittgrößen aufgelistet, die für jeden Querschnitt vorliegen.
