A member division allows for the definition of points on members on which the internal forces and deformations are displayed in the result tables and in the numerical printout. This term is used in the program generations RFEM 5 and RSTAB 8.
The member division does not have an influence on the determination of the extreme values or on the graphical result diagram. The program internally uses a finer division. Therefore, member divisions are not necessary in most cases.
