Member set representatives are templates for member sets, having identical properties concerning material, cross-section, member type and length, as well as member set type. Only the member set with the governing internal forces of all similar types is analyzed. In this way, the representatives provide a good overview both in the program and in the printout. They also facilitate the evaluation and documentation of results.
Usage in RFEM and RSTAB
You do not need to create the member set representatives manually. They are created automatically from the properties of the member sets available in the model. To do this, activate the corresponding option in the "Settings and Options" tab of the Base Data of the model.
The member set representatives are listed in Navigator – Data under the basic objects. In the editing dialog box, you can then assign the design properties.
