Using a visibility, you can display a part of a model or a group of objects; for example, surfaces of a layer or columns of a floor. On one hand, there are the user-defined object selections and generated visibilities in Navigator – Views that are created automatically by the program. On the other hand, you can also create temporary visibilities.
All visibility types provide a quick overview of the model because the objects can be filtered specifically. This way, you can easily check the input and results.
Creating Temporary Visibility
For temporary visibility, you have to select the relevant objects. Then, you can then activate this visibility using the menu "View" → "Visibility" → "Visibility by Selected Objects" or "Visibility by Selected and Related Objects". This function is also available in the toolbar.
Saving User-Defined Visibility
To save a user-defined visibility, it is necessary to select the desired objects first. In Navigator – Views, you can save the selected objects as an object selection by clicking the
button.
Combining User-Defined Object Selections and Generated Visibilities
Due to the flexible selection, it is also possible to combine visibilities. For this, activate or deactivate the individual check boxes in the "Visibility" tree.
