Nodes are the basis of any calculation model. You can define a line or a member using the start and end points. Furthermore, nodes can be used as load application points and support points.
Each node can be found and modified in the model by its description and coordinates. Nodes can also be used as guide objects. For example, loads or surface axes systems can be aligned to a node.
Entering in RFEM and RSTAB
Nodes can be defined in RFEM and RSTAB graphically using the menu "Insert" → "Basic Objects" → "Nodes" in a dialog box, or graphically. You can select various node types.
