The result tables of the Buckling Analysis category display the stability design checks of the analyzed joints.
Node
The results are displayed for each node of a joint. The list is sorted by load combination.
Mode Shape
For each node, as many mode shapes ("buckling modes") are analyzed as you have defined as the "Number of Lowest Eigenvalues" in the Ultimate Configuration .
Tip
Using the
button in the table toolbar, you can graphically check the selected mode shape in the
Results of Steel Joint
.
Critical Load Factor f
This column shows the critical load factors. They indicate the factor by which the existing load must be multiplied in order for a stability failure to occur at the node.
Tip
You can display the Design Check Details of a specific mode shape by double-clicking the table row. As an alternative, you can use the
button in the toolbar.
