The library of Steel Joint Templates provides an overview of typified connections that were created during the installation. Here you can also find your templates that you have saved as templates in the Steel Joint dialog box by using the
button.
In the Category dialog section, specify the joint type. You can select from the following categories:
- Rigid joint
- Pinned connection
- Truss connection
- Brace connection
Depending on the category, there are various options available in the Subcategory section that help you to determine which geometry is suitable for the joint. Select the relevant entry. In the Template dialog section, you can then define the corresponding model component.
The
button inserts the module into the table of components.
