The data exchange with MS Excel is based on the Dlubal API (SOAP). It allows you to import both structure and load data into the current table and export results as an Excel file.
Three buttons are available in the table toolbar for data exchange with MS Excel.
Settings for Import and Export
Use the button
to open a dialog where you can set general settings for import and export.
In the 'Table Parameters' category, you can specify how the table's header is handled during data exchange. The 'Transfer Parameters' category contains control options for direct communication with MS Excel.
Import Table
Open the Excel workbook. If the worksheet has headers, deactivate the 'Include Table Header' checkbox in the Excel Settings dialog. This will ignore the headers during import and only transfer the lists into the table. When importing a complete workbook, the order and structure of the worksheets must fully match the RSTAB tables.
Click the button
to start the import.
Export Table
With the options of the list button
, you can export the current table to MS Excel or in JSON format.
MS Excel will be automatically launched. The worksheet contains the content of the RSTAB table including headers.
When exporting to JSON, specify the file location.
