There are different ways to open an input dialog box:
- Menu "Insert"
- Buttons in the toolbar
- Shortcut menu in the Navigator
- Shortcut menu or double-click in the table
Double-click an empty row. Alternatively, you can use the shortcut menu of the row number.

The input dialog boxes are aligned with the objects or types. The data are often organized in several tabs that depend on the selected object types, sub-categories, or design specifications. For example, if the steel design is activated, tabs for entering design properties are also available in the "New Member" dialog box.
