In the Reinforcement tab, you can select the material for the reinforcement using the drop-down menu in the "Material" section. In this case, it is possible to select a suitable material, such as B500S(A), for the reinforcement of the foundation plate.
Furthermore, you can determine the reinforcement type of the plate. There are three options you can select from.
- Mesh and rebars: Meshes and members are used in combination.
- Rebars: Only rebars are used.
- Meshes: Only meshes are used.
If you select the "Automatically" option, the program takes over the reinforcement design. RFEM then determines the required reinforcement automatically.
