Create single foundation

In the Navigator, you can create single foundations in the Types for Foundations category. When creating a new foundation, the dialog box New Single Foundation opens.

The single foundation has to be assigned to a nodal support. You can select the nodal support manually or using the button in the work window button.

You can also define the single foundation via the dialog box of the nodal support. Open the Edit Nodal Support dialog box of the corresponding nodal support. In the Options section, select the Foundation check box. The new Foundations tab appears. Here, you can assign a foundation or define a new one.

As an alternative, you can assign the single foundation to a nodal support in the Types for Foundations table in the Structure table.

Define foundation type

The list in the Type dialog section offers several foundation types for selection.
