Geometry

The Geometry tab manages the dimensions of the foundation plate and the bucket.

You can define the geometry of the plate and the bucket via parameters.

Variable	Label
w_x	Dimension of the foundation plate in the x-direction
w_y	Dimension of the foundation plate in the y-direction
t	Thickness of the foundation plate
h	Bucket height
d	Column embedment depth
a_tx / a_ty	Column allowance on top in the x- or y-direction
a_bx / a_by	Column allowance on bottom in the x- or y-direction
e_x / e_y	Eccentricity in the x- or y-direction
c_x / c_x	Column dimension in the x- or y-direction

Info

The column dimensions cannot be adjusted here. They can only be changed in the cross-section dialog box of the corresponding member.

Minimum Dimensions

The following minimum dimensions must be observed:

d \leq h \leq t - \max \{\begin{cases} 0.15 \\ c_{top} + c_{bottom} + 0.1 \end{cases}

Bucket Height

2 \cdot (a_{tx, y} + |e_{x, y}|) + c_{x, y} + t_{\min} \leq w_{x, y}

a_tx,y	Column allowance in the x or y-direction
e_x,y	Eccentricity in the x or y-direction
c_x,y	Column dimension in the x or y direction
t_min	Minimum slab thickness
w_x,y	Plate dimension in the x- and y-direction
