In the Main tab, you can specify the foundation type, material, and design option.
Type
In the Type section, select “Stepped foundation” from the drop-down list. The preview graphic on the right shows the stepped geometry in side and top views. The stepped foundation can be designed as reinforced or unreinforced.
Material
The material is specified separately for the plate and the step.
Design Properties
Check the Design Properties check box to enable foundation design. Without this option, the stepped foundation is modeled geometrically, but not designed.
