The Concrete Foundations category manages the basic assignments for the design of foundations. Here, you can check the objects to be designed and assign the configurations for the geotechnical analysis and the concrete design to them.
For work in the Tables the functions known from RFEM are available, with which you can filter result tables. The specific tables of the 'Concrete Foundations' category are presented in the following chapters.
- Design Situations
- Objects to be Designed
- Design configurations of the geotechnical analysis according to EN 1997
- Design configurations of the concrete design according to EN 1992
In addition, general specifications for concrete design are stored in the Global Settings dialog. You can open this dialog via the table button
or the context menu of the navigator entry 'Concrete Foundations'.
Geotechnical Design Configurations
The detailed settings for the individual checks are defined in the Geotechnical Design Configuration and in the Concrete Design Configuration. Only the design configurations activated in the Global Settings are available. These configurations are currently described for the Eurocode standards EN 1997 and EN 1992.
The design configurations are also organized as types. This allows you to create different types for the individual design configurations and then assign the appropriate configurations to, for example, a foundation in the 'Geotechnical Configuration' tab.
Select an existing configuration from the list or create a new configuration. You can also create a new configuration using the
button. The
button allows you to graphically transfer a configuration from another object. With the
button, you can edit the selected design configuration.
Manage Design Configurations
In the Edit Geotechnical Design Configuration dialog, the 'List' shows all configurations of the limit state موجود in the model. With the
button, you can create a new configuration based on the default values of the
Standard
. With the
button, you can copy the selected configuration, and with the
button, delete the selected configuration.
Assign Design Configuration
Analogous to the Types for Foundations, you can assign the configuration to the objects individually. You have various options for this:
- Assignment via the
button at the top right in the Edit Geotechnical Configuration dialog - Assignment in the input table of the concrete foundations for configurations (see image Assign Geotechnical Configuration via Table)
- Assignment via the list in the object's edit dialog
If, for example, you do not want to perform a geotechnical verification for individual foundations, simply do not assign a geotechnical configuration to these foundations.
