IBC 2021 / ACI 318-19 (LRFD): Minimum Reinforcement
Design Objective
The minimum reinforcement design checks whether the existing longitudinal reinforcement meets the minimum reinforcement requirements for foundation plates specified in ACI 318-19.
The design is performed separately for both foundation directions (x and y).
Determination of Minimum Reinforcement
The minimum reinforcement is determined according to ACI 318-19, Sections 7.6.1.1 and 8.6.1.1:

Software Configuration
The provided reinforcement is taken from the defined foundation parameters, and the associated material properties are taken from the assigned concrete and reinforcement materials. The statically required reinforcement and the minimum reinforcement are automatically determined for each reinforcement layer and each design section.
