Angle Corner

The Fillet function creates a new line in the corner area, thus trimming the edge at the corner point. To do this, open the Fillet function in the Tools menu. Alternatively, use the button in the CAD toolbar. You do not have to select the lines beforehand.

Parameters

The list offers two options for creating the fillet:

Corner Types

• Both edges: The first line is shortened by the length L₁, the second line by the length L₂.
• Edge and angle: The first line is shortened by the length L₁. The connection to the second line is made at the angle α. It is referenced to a right-handed coordinate system.

Options

If the 'Separate lines' check box is enabled, the extensions of the original lines in the corner area are deleted after the fillet has been created.

The 'Delete corner point' option also removes the point at the original intersection.

Line list

You can select the lines in the work window by clicking them with the mouse or enter the line numbers directly in the input fields. When entering the line numbers directly, you can use the button to swap the first line number with the second one and the button to delete the line numbers.
