The Parallel Lines/Elements function in the Tools menu offers the option of copying lines or elements in parallel. Alternatively, use the
or
button in the CAD toolbar
The following figure shows a polyline whose copy is offset outward by a distance of 10 mm.
Offset distance
Enter the distance by which you want to copy the lines or elements.
Line/element list
Select the line/element in the work window by mouse click for which a parallel is to be created.
You can then specify the offset direction with the mouse. You can check the new line/new element in the preview.
