Move

The "Renumber | Shift" function allows you to shift the numbers of model objects, load cases, and load combinations by one value.

Important

If you want to shift the numbers of model objects, select the objects with one of the Selection Options before calling the function.

In the "Selected Objects" dialog section, you can specify which basic objects should be renumbered if you selected some model objects before accessing the dialog box. Enter the "Increment" as the value by which the numbers of the objects are increased. You can also decrease the numbering by setting negative increments. However, make sure that no resulting numbers are smaller than 1.

In the "Load Cases and Combinations" section, you can change the numbering of load cases and load combinations. Select the relevant categories and enter the proper numbers in the "No. from" and "No. to" columns. It is also possible to use the Table Selection button to select the load cases and load combinations in a dialog box. Finally, specify the "Increment" as the value by which the numbers of the load cases and load combinations are to be increased or decreased.

Info

Only free, unassigned numbers can be used to shift the numbering of basic objects or load cases.
