Load Cases

The internal forces from a certain action are stored in a load case (LC). Load cases are, for example, self-weight, snow, or imposed load.

Info

Define the internal forces in the load case as characteristic values without factors. The factors are taken into account when superimposing the load cases in the load combinations.

List

The 'List' manages all load cases of the model. The table describes the buttons that you can use to create, copy, or delete objects of a list.

No. and Load Case Name

The number of the new load case is preset but can be changed. The order is irrelevant for the numbering. It does not have to be continuous, either; gaps in the numbering are allowed.

Enter a load case name, or select an entry from the list that briefly describes the load case.

To Solve

The check box controls whether the load case is analyzed in the calculation.

General

The General tab manages the general data of the load case selected in the 'list' on the left.

Action category

You have to assign a category to each load case. You can do this using the list.
