Opening the Dialog Box for Entering New Objects

There are different ways to open an input dialog box:

• 'Insert' Menu

• Buttons in Toolbar

02 Quick Access Buttons

• Shortcut menu in Navigator

03 Shortcut Menu in Navigator - Data for "Points"

• Shortcut menu or double-click in Table

04 Shortcut Menu in Table

Double-click an empty row. Alternatively, you can use the shortcut menu of the row number.

The input dialog boxes are often organized in several tabs, which depend on the object types and the selected options. For example, the 'New Line' dialog box includes a tab for the line type 'Arc' and a tab for assigning points when the 'Point on Line' option is selected .
