The results of the finite element analysis are displayed at the grid points (in preparation) of the parts and at the FE mesh nodes (see the chapter Result Values on Parts). If you need the values at specific locations, you can define any points for the result display and assign them to the corresponding parts.
Tip
Use the
button in the toolbar to set result points directly on the model.
Coordinates
Specify the “coordinates” of the result point. You can also define the point graphically using the
button.
After the calculation, you can display the values in the user-defined result points using the corresponding options in the “Navigator – Results”.
