In the Extras → Modify Parts menu, the Merge Parts feature is available, allowing you to merge selected parts into a single part. Alternatively, you can use the
button in the CAD toolbar.
Parts made of the same material are combined if they touch or overlap. Parts made of different materials, however, are geometrically subtracted from each other to completely eliminate overlaps.
Merging parts has no effect on existing lines; these remain unchanged and are not automatically merged.
If you have already selected the desired parts before calling the feature, they are merged directly. Otherwise, a dialog box opens where you can select the desired parts. After confirmation, the selected parts are merged.
