Steel Fiber-Reinforced Concrete

Material Type Fiber Concrete

The materials for steel fiber-reinforced concrete and reinforcing steel should be taken from the material library according to the standard selected for design in the “Concrete Design” add-on.

The concretes and lightweight concretes are designated with the suffix “L1/L2,” which stands for Performance Class 1 and Performance Class 2.

The performance classes L1 and L2 are initially preset with the values 1.20 and 0.90, respectively. To adjust these performance classes, a “user-defined material” can be activated in the “Main” tab of the material under “Options.”

To ensure that the subsequent definition of additional design properties proceeds smoothly, it is recommended to create the fiber-reinforced concrete and the reinforcing steel before you start the actual modeling.

Linear Elastic Material
