The Generate Surfaces from Cells function allows you to fill closed areas of the model – so-called "cells" – with surfaces. A cell is formed by at least three corner nodes. It is enclosed on all sides with straight lines and lies in a plane. The cell is not detected for curved lines.
Select the lines including their nodes by drawing a window over the relevant area. Then right-click one of the selected lines to open the shortcut menu. There, select the Lines → Generate Surfaces from Cells option.
If the cells are detected, the 'Edit Surfaces' dialog box appears. Define the surface properties.
After OK, the surfaces are created.
