The Member Set Representatives Wizard tab is displayed when you have activated the 'Member Representatives' check box in the Settings & Options tab. Here, you can make specifications according to which the representatives for member sets (see Member Set Representatives chapter) are created.
A member set representative is a template for sets of members with identical properties. RFEM checks all member sets for similarities with regard to criteria like material, cross-section, line and member type, member length, member set type as well as member orientation, and displays the result as a list (see image Member Set Representatives in Navigator ). The mentioned criteria are preset.
In the 'Consideration of Member Set Properties' list, you can define further conditions to refine the criteria for member set representatives. For example, if you activate the 'Eccentricities' of the member properties, RFEM creates a representative for similar sets of members without eccentricities and a representative for the same sets of members of similar type with eccentricities.
