You can display the results for surfaces graphically, using the Surfaces navigator category. You will find the numerical results of surfaces in the Results by Surface table category.
FE mesh nodes and grid points
The graphical results are based on the results available in the FE mesh nodes. In the tables, however, the results are displayed in grid points that are defined for each surface (see the Surfaces chapter). Independent of the FE mesh, the grid allows for results output in results points with regular distances.
For small surfaces, the grid's standard mesh size of 0.5 m may cause only a few grid points to exist. In this case, adjust the number or distance of grid points to the surface size.
